HHM Modular Desiccant Air Dryers

Desiccant compressed air dryers

Air flow rates from 5 m³/h to 300 m³/h

The NEW Hankison HHM Series modular desiccant air dryer excels across diverse industries by ensuring the highest quality compressed air and offering pressure dew points from -40°C to -70°C for critical applications.

Thanks to its low PED Category (Pressure Equipment Directive, PED 97/23/CE) HHM Dryers help to minimize the costs related to periodic compulsory check on pressurized

equipment. Furthermore, their moduar design not only simplifies initial installation but also makes future expansions or modifications hassle-free.

The HHM Series features our advanced Energy Management System (EMS) for selected models and offers a conservative pressure drop 0,18 barg with possible purge reduction on compressed air demand (on/off-load control).

Depending on the applied pre- and post- filtration, these dryers are capable of meeting various applications’ needs, including pharmaceutical, chemical and food & beverage industries, and more

The new HHM modular desiccant dryers feature several design solutions that improve their performance and translate to real-life benefits for you and your customers:

Microprocessor (HHM 5 - 25)

·       Simple to use - Intuitive interface, simple navigation

·       Compact, fits the small units

·       Cycle time indication

·       Right/left tower drying/regeneration indication

New digital controller - Preventative maintenance alerts

·       Alerts based on running hours

·       Maintenance alerts for:

o   Filter Element Change-out

o   Muffler Replacement

o   Valve replacement

o   Desiccant Change-out

o   Dew point sensor service (only with EMS)

Proactive maintenance for dryer reliability and customer uptime.

Connectivity

·       Modbus-Ready

·       RS-485 communications:

o   Easier integration into a wide variety of DCS systems

o   Remote alarm

o   Communicates common alarm through Modbus

Compressor Interlock function

·       Reduce the timing of the purge cycle based on compressed air demand

·       The controller monitors the cycle rate of the air compressor load/unload to effectively reduce timing of purge (when more than one compressor is connected to HHM the on/off relay of compressor with the lowest pressure set point, must be used)

EMS Option (Energy Management System)

With this option the unit is provided with a High Precision Dew Point sensor connected to the Digital Controller. EMS adjust the operation of the dryer according the outlet air Dew Point Temperature measured by the sensor (EMS take over compressor off load interlock function). EMS Return Of Investment can be less than 1 year, reducing Total Cost of Ownership.

Reliability, long life (service every 3 years)

·       Well proven pneumatic purge valves
Solenoid control valve

Low noise at Point-of-Use

·       Purge mufflers < 75 dBA

Quick visual reading

·       Pressure gauges

Safe, easy to move and install

  • Feet with forklifting provisions
  • Protection of Noise mufflers
